Introducing: Womanhood Wednesdays

Celebrating the Stories, Strength & Sisterhood of Women Everywhere



At The Mommy Village, we believe in the power of women. We believe in the mothers who show up even when they’re exhausted, the businesswomen chasing dreams while packing lunchboxes, the healers, the helpers, the quiet doers, the loud leaders, the comeback queens, and the ones still figuring it out, all of it is womanhood, and all of it is worthy.


And yet, too often, the everyday woman goes unseen. Her efforts are demanded, her strength is assumed, and her light, though powerful, can be dimmed by all she carries.


Therefore, we created Womanhood Wednesdays; because we want to change that.




Why We’re Doing This


This project was born from a conversation within our team about how many incredible women we cross paths with. Women who are holding it all together with grace, grit, and quiet power. Some are known in their industries, while others are changing lives in small, meaningful ways no one ever hears about. We wanted to give those women their flowers.


Not just with words of affirmation, but with recognition. With a space to share their stories. With a platform that uplifts their voices, honors their journey, and makes them feel seen.


For us, Womanhood Wednesdays isn’t just a weekly post, it’s a movement. It’s a reminder that your story matters, that your path is sacred, and that the way you carry your life, whether it’s through motherhood, entrepreneurship, service, or simply surviving, its something worth celebrating.




Why It Matters


We live in a world that often glorifies the loudest voice in the room. But we know the real magic is in the women who uplift others, raise future leaders, pour into their communities, and continue to rise in the face of challenges. Those women deserve a spotlight too.


Representation matters.

When women see others like them being honored, it sends a powerful message: “I am enough. My work matters. I matter.”


This is especially important for mothers, caretakers, first-generation leaders, women of color, and those who have never had the chance to be front and center.


By showcasing real stories of womanhood: the wins, the struggles, the pivots, and the perseverance, we hope to create a ripple effect of inspiration that reaches every corner of our community.




So, What is Womanhood Wednesdays?


Every Wednesday, throughout August and September, we’ll be highlighting two phenomenal women who have been nominated by our community. These features will live on both our Instagram page and here on our blog, where we’ll go a little deeper into each woman’s journey, passions, and purpose.

You’ll learn about the woman behind the title and her “why,” her impact. We’ll also link her business, organization, or social platform if applicable, so that our community can support and connect.




How You Can Get Involved


Know someone who deserves to be highlighted? Nominate her! It could be your friend, your mom, your business partner, your favorite mom from the school drop-off line, or even yourself (yes, self-nominations are welcome and encouraged!).




We’re looking for women who:

  • Inspire through action or attitude

  • Lead with heart, even behind the scenes

  • Represent authenticity, growth, and community

  • Are making an impact big or small

This isn’t about perfection or status. It’s about realness. Resilience. And recognizing that womanhood comes in many forms.

In Closing


At The Mommy Village, we’re not just here to support women, we’re here to celebrate them.
